Checking to see if you have an Alias

Outlook 2002/XP and 2003

Note: If you do not see an alias listed, and wish to have one created, you can fill out the Alias application here. Additional information about Aliases can be found at http://aliases.unh.edu.
In the toolbar, locate and click on the icon for the Address Book as shown on the right.

Locate your name in the Global Address List. Right click it and select Properties.
Go to the E-mail Addresses tab. In the list of e-mail addresses, look for one in the form your.alias@unh.edu. The UNH standard for personal aliases is FirstName.LastName@unh.edu. If one is listed, this is your alias.

It is advised that you give this address to your contacts, as it can be redirected to other e-mail addresses without interrupting your mail delivery. If you do not see an alias listed, and wish to have one created, you can fill out the Alias application here. Additional information about Aliases can be found at http://aliases.unh.edu.
