Outlook Today Settings

To Set Outlook to Display Outlook Today on Startup:

  1. Click the Shortcuts icon (located at the bottom left).
  2. Click the "Outlook Today" link. If you do not see Outlook Today in your shortcuts, follow the instructions below
  3. Click the "Customize Outlook Today" button (top right)
  4. Check the "When starting, go directly to Outlook Today" option

Alternative method

  1. If you do not find Outlook today in your shortcuts menu, right click in the top navigation bar (near the Help menu) and select Web (as shown below).
  2. Type "outlook:today" into the address bar as shown below (the address bar may not be shown and you'll have to click on the arrow to find it).
  3. Click the "Customize Outlook Today" button (top right)
  4. Check the "When starting, go directly to Outlook Today" option

Other Settings

You can also adjust the folders you view in Outlook Today, the number of days on the calendar, the tasks shown, and the style of Outlook Today by editing these options in the Customize Outlook Today window. To find this window, follow directions 1 - 3 above.
