The Outlook Today view (pictured below) allows you to keep track of you appointments, tasks, and e-mail all in one window. Outlook Today can be found by clicking on the Favorites icon (outlined in red below) and selecting Outlook Today. To set Outlook to display Outlook Today on startup click here.

Mail
The Mail view (pictured below) allows you to complete e-mail related tasks such as compose an e-mail, view your inbox, read your e-mail, etc. The view in the center box depends on which folder on the left is highlighted. Note that in the view below, the Inbox folder has been selected and is displayed in the center window.
Important Note: Notice that the right window (outlined in red below) displays a view of the selected e-mail in the inbox. E-mails can also be read by double-clicking the e-mail listed in your inbox.

Public Folders
Public folders are folders that can be accessed by multiple people, whether it is a specific group of people or everyone. As shown below, there are public folders that contain sub-folders, or sub-topics. The Public folders can be found by selecting the folder icon (outlined in red below).
Important Note: You will only have access to the folders for which you have permissions, and may not have access to every folder.
