Views in Outlook 2002
| This is the Outlook Today view in Outlook 2002. It allows you to keep
track of your appointments and tasks in one window along with keeping you informed of the
e-mail you have. |
 |
Inbox
| This is the Inbox view. There are different ways to use this view.
Currently the Inbox menu is being displayed along with the Folder
List. When
you receive new messages, your Inbox becomes bold and the number of unread messages
appears to the right of the word Inbox in blue.
Important Note:
The view in the right side of the screen depends on which folder on the left is
highlighted. In this picture, the inbox is being displayed because the word Inbox is
highlighted.

Public Folders
| Public folders are folders that either a specific group of people can
access, or everyone can access. There are many different folders that deal with
different subjects. As shown below, there are public folders with
help for different sub-topics. You won't have access to every folder,
only the ones for which you have permissions |

Outlook 2002 changes the file menu structure significantly compared to
Outlook 98 and 2000. It gives you a short list (as displayed
above) of the more frequently used command. If you click on the two down
arrows at the bottom of that short list, the long list of all the commands will
then appear (as displayed below).
